Tire Testing Laboratory of BBKKP is a government laboratory that has been recommended
to perform testing of tires, both local and imported products.
This facility is to support the Act of Minister of Industry and Trade with Number:
595/MPP/kep/9/2004 namely: Implementation of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI)
of Tire In Mandatory.
Tire Testing Laboratory of BBKKP has been accredited by National Accreditation Committee (KAN)
on the date May 27th 2005.

Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 Year 2014 on Industry states that the industry is organized with the aim of creating an independent industry, competitive, and advanced and green industries. Green industry is defined as an industry whose production process prioritizes efficiency and effectiveness of sustainable resource use so that it can harmonize industrial development with nature sustainability.
